He means that traditional remakes make enough money that they, the mainline AND Lets Go can coexist. Considering how well ORAS sold, they have little reason to abandon them.

Normal remakes are pretty much dead anyway, might as well put them under the Let's Go series for prime butchering. It makes no difference.

Probably not. Remaies, new games, and let's go games will all sell well enough they'll keep making all 3. Though now I kinda wish they would just do all the rest of the remakes as let's gos, because 3 sets of games for each region seems a bit much

I don't think so. The whole point of Let's Go is making making games butchered of content, but full of nostalgia, and that alone being enough to sell. But no Region/Dex has nearly enough of a nostalgia-driven fandom aside from Kanto and MAYBE Johto to justify that approach.

Gamefreak literally, EXPLICITLY said they won't.
The Let's Go series is an excuse to make remakes of remakes and still make money. It would make no sense from a business standpoint to compress the two remake series into one.

You could argue that GF made more money because the games cost like $20 more than ORAS, but as far as the number of copies sold go LGPE is still a few millions lower than ORAS
