If you lived in the Pokemon world, assuming you weren't the Protagonist fighting off evil teams and Gym Leaders all day, who would you be?
Where would you live? What sort of job would you have? Which Pokemon would you keep around?

I'd like to work my way up from being a gym grunt to a gym leader or maybe an E4 member although I likely wouldn't be talented enough. Honestly being a low-mid level gym leader in Hoenn or Kalos would be comfy. I really like water types so i'd try to keep Politoed, Greninja, Seismitoad, swampert etc around. My gym pokemon would be less powerful of course.

I would be a beautiful young, teenage girl, who’s father is someone important like maybe the regions Pokémon professor. And I’d be with him in the Alola region while he was studying Z crystals or something, and just hanging out on the beach with my under trained Pokémon. Because I’m not a protagonist I don’t have to worry about leveling up constantly.

I’d probably have a ditto that can turn into jewelry and new pairs of shoes that I can wear. It would be like having an unlimited number of new pieces of jewelry and new pairs of shoes. Basically, he would turn into anything I saw in magazines or in store windows for free. I could also have the ditto climb on my head and change my face, so I can sneak out of the dumb Pokémon Academy and go to the mall to buy frogurt and handbags.

Maybe there be a chance encounter, while lying on the beach, where the protagonist would run by and splash sand or water on me. And maybe we’d have a Pokémon battle and I could be all snotty and bratty when I lost. And I’d just be so hot and cute everybody would love me forever even though I’m not nice.

I think the early/mid gyms are definitely comfiest. Wouldn't have to worry about tryharding like the later gyms/E4. Could have more fun with it and use your favourites.
Would you do anything on the side besides leading the Gym? Most of them have some kind of important role in their community.

Personally I think I'd be happiest in Canalave City. It's quiet and out the way but not that far from Jubilife if you ever need something. I'm already going into engineering so I guess I'd end up working on the boats.
It's also comfy as hell, a nice library and Iron Island nearby for battling. Helps that steel is one of my favourite types.
