I wanted them to do a Kanto remake where, instead of cutting and pasting the game's tiles, turning it into 3D, and calling it a day, they'd completely revamp and retool the region, expand upon each location and town, add more nice places in between, rearrange things to look nice and natural, find nice ways to connect the place into the rest of the Pokémon world even if the game didn't have any other actual explorable regions in it. It fucking hurts that they've solidified Kanto as forever going to be the most bland, artificial-feeling region in the entire series.
