That's not true. Parasitic shrooms are more common. Also all fungi feed on organic matter.
Though plant parasites also belong in this type.

There are kingdoms of fungi, viruses and plants. But what the hell someone put "parasite" there? It's a type of behaviors or group of organisms that share type of behavior, it's not like biologically related group.

It's fine how it is, Grass is just Nature Type, Wood, Grass, Flowers, Fungi (shared with Poison), etc.

That's not true. All fungi Pokemon (and Spore) are grass type, but only Foongus line is Poison.
