Which gen 3 game did you enjoy the most? Hoenn or Kanto?

FRLG has the best main game with its probably unintentionally freedom. I can catch a legend with 3 badges, one of those being the 5th badge. I hope we get another game like this. The Emerald Battle Frontier is still one of the most fun features in Pokemon, but I don't really finish enough playthroughs to get there.

Emerald. The music and mon variety is much better. Too many water routes and mandatory HMs though
I had Yellow as a kid, so I wasn't into Kanto as much anymore.
