Swap attack with sp. Atk
Better off with stab flame thrower instead of flareblitz spam as it's only viable move
Definitely swap some stats for maybe some bulk or speed, preferably speed

Swap her Speed and SpDef.
Give her ground coverage tho idk what move makes sense thematically.
Get rid of Guts for Adaptability since Eevee had it.
Make a fire type priority move and let her learn it.

I agree it still probably wouldn't be but they wouldn't be playing the exact same roles just because they have rock head and head smash. Flare blitz with 130 attk is nothing to sniff at

you cant really, at least not organically
its a monofire type with a shitty half-snorlax stat spread and has no unique features over alternatives (most notably darmanitan)

you basically just have to give it a broken ability/move combo and pray, like say contrary
even then its not likely to be a powerhouse, probably just mediocre

That's pretty good. With a choice band extremespeed is effectively a priority life orb flare blitz with no recoil. I don't know if it would solve everything, but I think that would give it a niche if nothing else.
