>Probopass
I've always liked Pokémon that look funny. I started to like it in the middle of the Gen 4 era. Firstly it was used to be a joke to me until I discovered how cool could be with its cool gimmicks after seeing it in Battle Revolution, manga and anime. Hey, it didn't look that bad, it's a mechanized turret statue, a Dalek but Pokémonized. How couldn't love an abstract being that has everything that I find appeal? It's funny outside battle, it's cool in battle, sleeps by covering his eyes with his hat, it has a cool moustache... Yes, it wasn't a first-sight love, that's why I appreciate it even more.
>Alolan Golem
Actually I don't hate any Pokémon, or at least I would prefer not to hate them, but seeing Alolan Golem is the closest thing to hating a Pokémon that I've lived. At first, because looks like a Probopass rip-off to me. Probopass was already a lodestone with iron filings, seeing the same concept again to make a worse version was the worst thing I see in Alola designs. I don't know how give it chest hair when it has no chest was a good idea for the same guy who create awesome Pokémon like Tyrantrum, Aegislash, Mega-Beedrill and Vikavolt. Especially Vikavolt. How can he create a Golem with taser and then improve your own design with a beetle taser in the same generation? It can't roll anymore due of that cannon. And the worst part are the hands, even anime was forced to use the hands as if it were Kirby. I don't know why they made a Golem that loses every featured gimmick on Golem and call it "adaptation". In other words, when things like Probopass (lodestone with iron filings), Vikavolt (taser), Rhyperior (cannon with rock bullets that also fire Geodudes)... what's the sense to make this Alolan Golem? Hey, if they wanted to make a lodestone Golem, they just needed to make a spiked shell made of iron filings, and then Golem could roll as these kind of spiked rocks in some games (Mario Odyssey)
