Since the advent and subsequent dissemination of genning tools, the community at large have gone to shit. Yes, hacking tools have existed since the dawn of time, but it's never been easier than it is now, and GameFreak do nothing about it, choosing to instead develop cinematic story-based games that neglect other facets of the game almost entirely.
These factors reflect in all communities revolving around Pokemon, and thus are the reason /vp/ is shit.
Also fuck Sun and Moon.
