Is this the most special moment in all of Pokemon? Crossing the bridge into the big city just felt like the start of a grand adventure. Nothing else like it.

I don't think Pokemon really has any truly special moments but getting told you're in Kanto towards the end of G/S was nice.

It could have been ok if it hadn’t been for all the wonky ass camera shifts. Instead, it ended up being super cheap, wannabe cinematic garbage. I don’t hate gen v, and actually like quite a bit about it, but these kinds of idiotic, forced camera panning “wow, look at this amazing world!” moments started in gen v and have been a plague ever since. Gamefreak doesn’t know how to make good world anymore, so now they just try to awkwardly showcase the few and far between glamorous specks that they do manage to come up with.

Don't fucking kid yourself, compared to the others gen4 barely gets any amount of shit beyond a few posts commenting that DP were slow, a post disliking the cross-evos, and some lone autist spamming OPs about HGSS being bad remakes from time to time.
Other than that the fourth gen is probably the one that has the easiest time around here, but that's because the board has always been filled with sinnohfetuses since its conception and still is.
