I think the biggest problem with the character is that he's supposed to be this famous, well-loved celebrity tech millionaire, but the game never really introduces him as such. Before we really get to know him, he's already rambling about how much he wanted to cleanse the world of filth. The fucking Generations short did a better job conveying his character in 3 minutes than the entirety of XY.
