And yeah, I do believe one of the entries for Paras talks about how they're all given spores upon birth from the Cordyceps of the parents, which is to some extent how they work in real life. At this point, the animal (assuming its not Crustle or Ninjask for instance) is only not extinct because of the Cordyceps, since all Paras are infected now. You won't find a Paras without it unless its just born and you somehow get to it in milliseconds, or you find a Fossil. Fossil Paras when?
