I know that the Galar = Sword. Kalos = Shield Theory has been done to death, but I noticed something else. While Kalos looking like a shield may just be a coincidence, it resembles the shape a lot more when flipped upside down with the curved part at the top and point at the bottom.

This makes more sense when the two regions are put together corresponding to real life geography as London is located at the bottom of the UK, meaning Galar is upside-down. So from the perspective of the Galar map, Kalos would be upside-down and resemble a shield
