It's a fighting-themed fire type but it's not fighting type. Hate shillmon? It's shoved down your fucking throat but manages to become a genuinely fun as fuck character in smash. The fact that he's a heel draws it all together. He's designed to be hated, and he's designed flawlessly. I don't like Incineroar and I generally don't dislike any other pokemon, but I respect the hustle

It has such a good movepool and so much potential, but slow glass cannons are never actually good and suckerpunch is not the kind of gimmick you build a good pokemon around. I hate that Mega Absol is great on paper, but because it uses up a mega slot there's no reason to use it when Diancie and Sableye do its offensive magic bounce gimmick better.
