I'd say it's because they're languages that can be chosen in the games, but then they have Russian and Hindi there. To my knowledge only moves and abilities have different names depending on every region, so I have no idea what's going on with the name tables

They're languages that don't use the latin alphabet, so there's technically merit in listing how the name is spelled in those written languages. The problem is more that Bulbapedo acts like the Pokemon themselves have different names in these languages rather than this being how the English names are written in non-English alphabets.

It's like saying Joseph Stalin is "the English name of Иocиф Cтaлин", nobody does that.

That basically has the same of puns as the the English version, but the English version dosent rely on different forms of the word goat like this one.

Ski-doo (personal transport for snow)
Skid (result of clumsy, fast running)
Kiddo (colloquial human youth)
Kid (as in goat)
