>>38190356>RBYmoderate difficulty, too many mons to get that can powerhouses game, no balance and lots of bugs so you could get a level 100, etc
>GSConly difficult because of level curves in some areas, specifically kanto, everything else can be cheesed
>RSEHell no, emerald for example nets you Rayquaza and a masterball before the E4
You could get Pokemon like Gardevoir which is unironically a great line, I haven't even struggled as much with this gen
>DPPtThe only difficult thing about gen 4 was the fact that it was slow and unbearably slow during battles, jokes aside this is one of the harder ones, definitely struggled a few times here
>BWBW2Black and White where definitely more difficult than BW2, mainly because you were forced to approach things with new Pokemon, bw2 gives you Pokemon like magnemite, Arcanine, Lucario early game
>XYneeds no answer
>SMUSUMnot inherently difficult because of how held your hand is, the only thing difficult are totem battles but that's only because it's a 2 on 1, with boosted stats, artificial difficulty. Aside from necrozma which is basically a totem, it is literally the only thing difficult about usum, without a plan
In all, personally gen 4 and 5 were the hardest gens to play through yet, but Im going to have to go with gen 5, specific black and white as mentioned, but even then some games aren't as difficult to me because I already understand much about the game and preplan my team
