This would definitely be too big of a nerf for typings weak to both Rock and Ice. I suggest that only one of those entry hazards is allowed on the opponents field at a time.

That's why OP said "exclusive to ice types", though it would make ice types very predictable if that's their only niche. Inconspicuous Icicles would be a good addition to the meta, but in terms of buffing ice types more needs to be done.

Yeah, but we know how well moves are kept exclusive by game freak. In one generation the notepad containing the words "EXCLUSIVE TO ICE TYPES" will have been thrown out, and then the meta is re-fucked and in gen9 they introduce Clandestine Vines to boost grass types with a note saying "EXCLUSIVE TO GRASS TYPES", and so on.

Grass types already have an unholy abomination of a move that immediately makes every mon 5 times better (single handedly making Venusaur the best Grass type, starter and Gen 1 mon in VGC). It's called Sleep Powder. Problem is, practically no Grass type after Gen 1 gets to learn it.

I wanted the switch in removal type to be different, just because an ice type getting smacked by icicles shouldn’t remove it, unlike poison where it could “realistically” absorb them, or if ice tried to clash with steel.
