Is this the worst trio of starters they’ve ever had? I can never choose because I dislike all three final forms a lot

Gen 6 starters were pretty great. Fennekin line and Froakie line were all three good, and only Quilladin is a flop of Chespin's line.

I'm inclined to say that Unova has the worst starters despite being a unovafag as I didn't particularly like any of them in their first evos but. Second evis showed potential minus pignite he looked retarded. Then Samurott, and Emboar made me regret not choosing Serperior. Theyre sucky but not as bad a gen 7 final evos. The gen 7 starters just have better starting evos. Chesnaught and Delphox are fucking garbage.

Gen 2 are definitely the most overrated starters by nostalgiafags that won't admit their nostalgia glasses.

Chikorita line don't feel like a starter pokemon and the other two lines just got bigger.

Typhlosion is overrated and looks bad, fight me.

Seethe more, I've never even played gen 2 until recentlybut it's got my favourite starters along with gen 1.
Starter design unironically went to shit with gen 5 and all other gens afterwards have had equally weak starters.
Gen 3 and 4 have some good and some bad.

Greninja looks fine, Delphox is ok but kinda disappointing and Chesnaught is ok too, but very disappointing. They all look fine until their final forms tho. I wouldn't say they are nearly as bad as gen 2.

From
Gen 1: really hard choice, base form Squirtle, last form Charizard, competitive viability Venosaur
Gen 2: pretty hard choice, crocodiles are my favourite animals
Gen 3: This is where I realized I was going to be a waterfag. Only Blaziken looks bad, but has a cute base form.
Gen 4: Both Grass and Water look useable.
Gen 5: Really hard, first time I chose the least bad looking (Snivy)
Gen 6: Once again, only one looks overdone to me (Chestnaught)
Gen 7: Water line is decent , fire kitten looked so promising...
