I would have welcomed it- GBA was comfy as fuck. Gold/Silver didnt suffer on DS though so it worked out.

I would've loved a GBA GC game with RRFG sprites. In a perfect world they would've added the Vs. Seeker and made the game harder like FRLG.

I started playing pokemon on the gameboy, HGSS are the only gen 4 games I like, and gen 5 is pretty hideous in a ton of areas, so try again.

I would have liked it, would have made getting the Johto Pokémom in gen 3 way easier. At the same time though, FRLG were great and to see them do that again with Johto would have sucked, especially when theywere eventually remade anyways. Wasn't there talks of putting in post game Johto originally in FRLG but they didn't have enough space so we got Sevii instead?

You know, I really like the idea of certain Pokémon coming out at night or the morning, but playing through the VC release of Gold has made me realize exact how ass it is in actual practice. I feel like a decent compromise would be being more common at certain times of day, but always having at least a chance of encountering it regardless of time.

The Physical/Special split is arguably one of the most significant changes that has been made to Pokémon combat, and it was for the better. I really didn't like the Gen 4 games themselves, but to pretend that the split itself isn't worth caring about is asinine.

its too bad most remakes from now on will all be using the same models, and each and every time a new generation of pokemon is added, gamefreak is digging themselves a bigger and bigger hole

gamefreak loves pandering to gen 1 but we'll never see an experimental gen 1 remake where the models are all based on gen 1 sprites. normies would go nuts over it too

Gen 3 looks like fucking garbage, and no one actually has a defense besides claiming anyone who criticizes the look of Gen 3 must have started playing Pokemon in 2006 or later
I remember legitimately thinking Sapphire looked worse than Gold and in fact lost interest in Pokemon temporarily because of how shit Gen 3 was
