They were never launching this on any other day but the friday before black friday, and 5 months back from that is May, when Nintendo will start giving out more info, per their marketing policy.

didn't say I agree with how masuda is deciding to market the games, but your idea is stupid as fuck. showing a new pokemon every monday would be hype for like 4 months at most and then it would get repetitive and by the time the games came out none of the pokemon would even feel new.
