Gen 4 was the last Pokemon game that actually felt like Pokemon plus platinum and hgss are some of the best titles but this thread isn’t about defending gen 4, there is a vary obvious aesthetic chance that happened to Pokemon after gen 4 everything after just feels more western and juvenile (for toddlers)

DESU everyone has different views about Pokémon generations.
For me the first generation I didn't really like Gen 5. I was disappointed with Gen 6 and I really hate gen 7.
I doubt that gen 8 will be any better.

Considering gender 5, 6, 7 and 8 were US, EU, US and EU respectively, that's thematically fitting
