I still think this is a better name. And while we're at it, how come English speakers just got the Spanish/Italian name for Pheromosa, Pheroache would've worked just as well for us as it did the Japanese.

Nah, Nihilego works. Its whole deal and Japanese naming scheme means it's basically a cognitive void, which makes sense given how it steals people's personality and turns them into primal tardrage.

"Nihil" and "ego" are both Latin words; the former means "nothing," while the latter both means "I" and refers to the part of the psyche dealing with rational decision-making and one's sense of self. I like the name Nihilego more for how "edgy"/ominous it is. Not actually an edgelord; just I like how on the nose the name is or something.

Don't feel that strongly about Pheromosa's name comparatively but I do think it sort of flows better than Pheroache, even though that could've stayed the same.

"Nihilistic Ego" fits its powers better than "Venom Phenomena", also it sounds too similar to Venomoth and >>38211045 probably gave them copyright problems too.

Pheromoach would've been a good compromise between Pheromosa and Pheroach, because Pheroach sounds more like "Pharoh Roach" than "Pheremone Roach". Pheromosa does sound nice anyway though, not complaining.
