>>38210554Yup. Honestly if I'm going to criticize BW's story at all, in upset that the whole "is catching pokemon a bad thing" is pretty much disregarded and one sided from the very start. Like third town in and you have the evil team kicking a literal fetus pokemon and basically saying " yeah we are evil". I mean it's an obvious twist and of course GF isint going to demonize their franchise by saying we are bad for being trainers, but the story could of been more interesting if both sides of the argument had been giving a fair chance. I still dont get why one of your rivals didnt end up being an asshole who was a shit trainer who gave some credence to Team Plasma's side. Not all trainers are good people but the only ones we know being shit are only trainers described in lore. It feels like a missed opportunity. Instead it was basically preaching to the choir all "Pffft of course training pokemon is good, only crazies and evil people would think otherwise."
