Sure, by default she looks as if she were pissed off 24/7, and I actually tease her because of that, but at the same time that makes the times she smiles even more meaningful. You know she's smiling because she truly feels it, unlike bubblehead idiot girls who go TEEHEEHEE~! over anything. Seeing how sweet she is when we're alone, how she reserves most of her smiles for me is such a nice feelings, knowing that she can be comfortable around you. Of course many people do prefer bubbleheads for some reason, they don't know what they're missing on. RBF can be so adorable, and so attractive too. She is quite the determined person as well, so I guess that adds another layer. So yes, I agree OP. Kahili was perfect. She had a distinctive trait that made her interesting, that gave her personality, and by making her all "yay all smiles!!" she turned into yet another generic anime girl, losing what made her special.
