...you don't need all 16 badges to battle celebi in VC crystal, right? read somewhere that you needed all 16 for the original GBC encounter

Yes, imo. Aside from the cutscenes, the game is nice. I liked the changes, and the wormholes.

it means thats every time you get a shiny that wasn’t your target you begin a new phase. If you’re on phase 3 it means you’ve caught three shinies that weren’t your target.

shiny hunting for me is rewarding when you finally get a shiny or get the shiny you’ve hunted for. I don’t feel anything from a shiny I receive from someone else because I didn’t earn it. they did the hard work and they’re giving me their prize

she isnt very recent, maybe a couple months old, but this is Ophelia. i started an egg chain in VC crystal, and she was my very first hatch! she also helped me stomp the E4 since wigglytuff could still learn DynamicPunch.

Treecko hatched in Sun and a Kirlia from a Friend Safari in Y.

Swirlix from Friend Safari in Y. The Kirlia was actually caught during this hunt. I had a feeling I was going to get a Shiny Kirlia instead, so I wasn't surprised. I was hoping for a Modest female but the Synchronizer failed and I ended up with an Adamant male.

Soft resetting in USUM is really fast, so it was worth it for me at least for the Ultra Beasts plus all the other legendaries.
