You’re right. I wouldn’t. My gf is a Sinnohfetus and I’m a Johtoddler, but I remember the days before Johto. I feel old next to her sometimes. Her first game was Platinum, and then she got back into Pokemon with Go, and I play Go with her too. I bought her SoulSilver also, so she could play a great Pokemon game, but I think she felt obligated to beat it, and got fatigued by near the end of Johto. Oh well. Maybe once we get local again in a year, I’ll show her how to play it. She just doesn’t really “get” Pokemon games, which admittedly, is worrisome, but I think it’s just cause she’s basically a beginner.
