This was resolved last time I checked a realistic pokémon thread, but in short people that get mad on Magnemite crabs don't understand that it's a design challenge the artist took starting from "What kind of realistic biological animals could look like that since living magnets aren't a think IRL?"
Of course the second kind of art, textured on model with maybe some different detail, is the one that would be expected on a live action set in the pokémon world, where magic and sci-fi shenanigans are a thing, but if you get mad on the first kind of design for failing to represent the pokémon you're missing the point.
You can dislike it and think it's shit, but they're consistent with what the artist tried to depict.
