For me, it's Exploud. It may be a slow frail mixed attacker, but it's one that learns a shit ton of moves.

Exploud is the last pokemoj whose design surprised me in game. 3rd gen was the last where I hadn't seen the whole pokedex beforehand, and I wholly didn't expect loudred (already a decently cool and final looking monster) to evolve again, especially into such a perfect unique looking kaiju. Fantastic end to a solidly designed line.

My exploud was one of my top pokemon on my first play trough saphire. (Blaziken, medicham, exploud) Loved it's design and movepool.

Used a Scrappy Boomburst one in ORAS, iirc it also had Overheat and Hammer Arm/Brick Break, maybe Surf, it just fucking demolished everything with a black belt.

Exploud was my first big surprise in shappire. Also a very important pokemon for me because my father evolved my whismur to loudred when I was at the summer camp. I cried because I thought he had released my whismur and didnt want to tell me where didn he catch Loudred. My face when it evolved at level 40 and learned Hyperbeam was one to remember.

Was actually a surprisingly useful mixed attacker during my second successful HGSS Nuzlocke. Zen headbutt, return, thunderbolt, and shadow ball allows it to do quite a lot.
