This game was simplified so hard and everything was made way too easy and simple to do, Which does not go well with being stuck with the absolute shittest selection of pokemons ever for 85% of the whole game.
Even when I was at the 8th gym leader I had 4 pokemons, out of which 2 I even wanted in the first place, and even then they were just absolutely lackluster options
