I never played much of it outside mini games but I did watch Werster's 100% speedruns, doubt I'm missing much. Made an attempt with emulation but Gym Leader castle kept crashing when I played it with my inserted Yellow ROM.

I think I spent more time in Stadium just using the GB Tower than actually playing Stadium, but the minigames were fun and I did think it was cool how you could win special pokemon like the starters or Surfing Pikachu and put them in your game.

Is there really no way to trade the surfing pikachu from Stadium up to the modern games? Someone must have a method, right? Is there a way to inject a save file ripped from an original cart into the 3DS version and then upload them to the Pokemon Bank or something?

It will be blocked by ranked Battle Spot for not being gen 7 native, otherwise I doubt GF is smart enough to block it.
