Imagine if other RPG fans rated their favorite game depending if it had companions following them in the overworld or not. The game that did have a companion following you would be the best game. Other things that are essential to a good game like story, graphics, and characters were negated. What mattered was if the game had a retarded gimmick where your companion follow you or not.
