Kalos gave us Spritzee/Aromatisse and Furfrou.
Alola gave us Alolan Marowak, Alolan Diglett/Dugtrio, and the Tapus
There's plenty more that aren't as blatant or are more debatable (like Hawaii does have sea cucumbers so I could mention Pyukumuku, but so do a lot of other places) and probably some more that I just forget.
So yes, you'll get at least 2 or 3 Pokemon blatantly based on some British creatures or aspects of British culture. Just don't throw a fit when you also get a cheetah, a platypus, and a Pokemon inspired by some Native American legend.
