Ideally, I'd want a housefly Pokemon to be a Bug/Dark type that can be randomly encountered in buildings on occasion, maybe even evolving into another pest like a mosquito.

Maggogo: Bug Stage one maggot, highest base speed of any base form bug type

Buzzoff: Bug basic flightless fruit fly, learns stockpile, swallow, spit up, and sludge

BRANCHING EVO

Beezlebuzz: (Male) Bug/Flying Abilities: Normal to bug, and Protean fastest bug type. Cartoon devil aesthetics on the body of a horsefly. Learns a bunch of Biting moves.

Bloatfly: (Female) Bug/Flying Abilities Normal to bug and parental bond
Fat botfly that carries a maggogo beneath her. She's a pretty slow bug pokemon, but gains a huge boost to Spd and Def. Learns a few of the Order moves and infestation.

YEa other animals can carry diseases but it's the same deal with rats. It's just a human culture thing. Flies are usually a sign of filth and unclean things. I don't blame people for making the connection to poison types. Shit like birds aren't a sign of filth. Granted, I wouldn't want it to be part poison type but I understand the logic behind the idea of it and anyone who doesn't is retarded. I'm still waiting for a Poison type Rat Pokemon.
