Just started the Hoenn games, DexNav is pretty cool. Is it in all the 3DS games?

Implement a function like the Yokai watch lens
You press a button and MC brings out the pokedex and you can move a bubble around the screen to scan a pokemon nearby

Their reasoning for not bringing it back is that in a remake you already know which pokemon appears in which route, so they wanted to create something to make catching the 'same' pokemon more exciting or something along the lines
As new games mostly hold only new pokemon then its purpose in nul for them

but the dexnav never told you what pokemon where on the route when it was your first time entering did it? if it doesn't the feature can come back without spoiling what pokemon are in the new location

The DexNav has its flaws, especially when using it anywhere but in grass, yet it's still one of the best inventions Pokemon had and currently the easiest and fastest way to catch HAs.

i don honestly don't care if dexnav comes back in sword and shield, i only care that a feature that gives us hidden abilities is in the game

I think each game has it's unique features that make it diffrent from the other games. Dex nav was good, friend safari was good, ultra wormholes and SOS chain are good too. Don´t cry about everything and just enjoy the games.
