Anon thats the easiest thing to base a Fire/Grass type off of without referencing a movie or some other form of media, hence why fake leaks would include it. What would you propose a Fire/Grass type to be instead?
The only other thing I can think of would be a Jack o lantern, but I personally think it should be a Ghost type because Halloween.

Actually the Wickerman is a bit of an old urban legend about Celtic sacrifices. First reported by the Romans (who we all know are completely unbiased, trustworthy, and honest sources of historical info) and kind of made a resurgance as Victorians and Edwardians became fascinated with paganism and it's practices.

That said, there's plenty of evidence to suggest Celts had similar practices. They definitely burned effigies, they likely did human sacrifice, but it's unknown if they combined the two.

I'd base it off a tiki torch or a campfire. Both have some elements of both fire and grass, and I feel like the torch especially could have a neat evolutionary line, turning into a firedancing tiki.

Many pine tree species require fire to reproduce (the heat opens their cones to expose the seeds while the flames themselves reduce competition and provide nutrients for the saplings).

A pokemon representing that superintendency of trees and flames would be a cool idea for an evolutionary line that starts as a grass type and grows into a grass/fire.
