Retard, the latest trailer they posted literally just listed all the main characters in the movie, including Squirtle which is confirmed to have a role as a kidnapped Pokemon.

Blastoise appearing in one scene doesn't mean it has a major role.

Anon, there was a theory floating about that said that missing Charmander would likely evolve into Charizard. But they listed Charmander AND Charizard as major characters. Now maybe that is still true and they just don't want to ruin the surprise. But either way, the fact they checked Squirtle, Charmander AND Charizard while not listing Blastoise, implys fatfuck didn't make the majors.

The kidnapped Pokemon are already released by the time the Venusaur sequence happens. It's pretty late in the movie. He uses Venusaur magic (?) to heal Pikachu.

You know Venusaur isn't there because it's quadruped AND heavy.
Yes, Suicune is in there, the only quadruped Pokemon because of its lightweight.

There are no other games where Venusaur didn't appear with the other Kanto starters. Venusaur doesn't fit fighting games.
