We need a biotic type for germs,mushrooms,bacteria,protis,and viruses.Soliosis line could be biotic type.Same with foongus amoongus,parasect,abunch of weird gooey shit,ditto,and even mew.
I would love a bacterio phage pokemon that preys on bacteria pokemon and if you level up with them both in a party they fuse into one pokemon for the evolution like slow poke.

What if there WERE microscopic Pokemon? What would they be like? What exactly do microbes in the Pokemon world look like, anyway? Is there a distinction between "germs" and "germ Pokemon" like there are with "plants" and "plant Pokemon" ?What if you could EQUIP microscopic Pokemon like items???

Could this completely fuck up the lore of the Pokemon world? Probably, yeah, but who cares; it'd be too cool to pass up

There's an agreed upon definition of life and viruses don't conform to it. They can't mutate, so they are incapable of Darwinian evolution; that alone already disqualifies them. Also, they can't reproduce, only replicate from cellular material they hijack, which technically doesn't count as reproduction simply because they don't have the "innate" means to.

There's a video from a channel called Stated Clearly that covers this question. It's very basic but interesting.

I think we should get a cyber type for pokemon that are man made.Because then we dont have to be like “Oh its steel,electric,and fire due to it being a fire robot but we cant have 3 types oh no!”
