So in Corocoro there is a contest to name a new move. Wouldn’t it make sense to promote it with a new Pokémon? Possibly the pic what is a blacked out?

The last time they did a contest like this, they intentionally did it with a generic Dragon type move (Draco Meteor). That way, they didn't really need to worry about the move being consistent with any specific Pokemon's abilities.

move names change for language localization anyway. I'm pretty sure the last move name competition was meteor shower that turned into draco meteor for english.

It was more than that, the name contained Ryū, which is a Japanese name meaning dragon. They love their wordplay, so I'd expect something mildly related to the move's effect that contains the character for Steel or something.
