More interactability. Let me sit on chairs, let NPCs and other player sit on chairs, lie down on rugs, hug dolls. Have random visitors other than players, and let you battle harder NPCs who visit you. Introduce a friendship mechanic with gym leaders or rivals coming to visit and build bonds.

also, yeah, more furniture, more interactions with said furniture, more space maybe.

Expanding on that last point, let us find more NPC secret bases around the world so we can find out more about some of the NPCs. Like, imagine just finding a random Hiker's secret base in a cave and finding out their past supporting Team Rocket, or one of the Gym Leaders' secret bases.

the underground was clunky, as with everything else in gen4, and it was the third worst thing after the snow routes and the middle mountain.
