Could've just locked mahogony town with strength or some shit so we actually have competent levels. Altho wild mons are level 15 around Ecruteak while gym leader has level 25 fully evolved gengar, meaning whatever you catch, won't be useable for decent amount of time. Games have comfy feel but have huge gameplay flaws
