>>38288487Primarina's not fetishistic, it's just a mermaid so it has feminine qualities. But it's because people see those feminine qualities, become attracted to it, and do all sorts of degenerate shit like draw porn/lewds of it, treat it like a waifu, and constantly comment about what they want to do to it, that external sexualization ends up tainting the Pokemon's reputation. The same is true of Gardevoir. There's nothing inherently sexual about it, it just happens to have a dainty body in a "dress" and a human-like hairstyle. You could see a dainty woman in a long dress and a short haircut walking around a supermarket and not think anything sexual of it.
Now Salazzle and Tsareena, on the other hand, are super sexualized and should have been toned down. All the material is built right into the design. They're not just feminine looking Pokemon, they're full-on, canonically femdom Pokemon. And then there are Pokemon like Lopunny, which was specifically made to invoke the Playboy bunny, a porn icon. There's a big difference between Pokemon that happen to incorporate secondary and tertiary feminine traits just to portray the fact that they're feminine, and Pokemon that accentuate these features and explicitly utilize them in an intentionally fetishistic way.
