Yes, but in a way that resembles the actual biology of related species instead of purely human concepts like pic related.

Unfezant makes perfect sense but there's no actual logical reason for Primarina to have any gender ratio other than what it has other than of course being 50/50, which it isn't for obscure game design reasons

The reason for the gender skew has always been to make it harder to breed in more starters, making them feel more exclusive than they actually are.
That said, that stopped mattering with the advent of online trading (but really it never actually mattered because you could easily catch ditto in Gen II before the third gym.)

Get rid of the thing that's on their heads for the males. Add the diamond pattern to the tips of the ears and a small tuft of fur on the top of the head (like eevee's) so it doesn't look too plain up there.

I wouldn't expect to see sexual dimorphism to the degree that it is on Pokemon like Venusaur or Raichu on every Pokemon but a good number of them should have something minor about their appearance that varies.

not all animals even have this quality. so not all pokemon having it is more than fine.

put it where it matters most, imo. birds, insects and fish often show the most drastic differences, mammals tend to have a similar body structure with larger fighting apparatus and spots of color.

usually gamefreak just makes one version of it ugly though, and it just makes breeding for an ideal one twice as much of a pain in the ass

I wish there were more differences. I remember they introduced that in gen 4, but there were so few differences, or if there ever were, they were completely minuscule and hardly noticeable. And make the differences something you might see in real animals, not something like, female version gets lipstick/breasts.

I hate the whole headdress so it's not fine to me. I'd rather get a version that didn't have it if they were ever to make gender differences for Glaceon. I like the rest of the design. Just not that thing on its head. I'd be happy if the whole thing was gone.
