So what's the deal with PokeSpe? I know Viz censored their releases, but did anyone bother to translate the Japanese releases, or edit the Viz releases to include the original content?

Also, feel free to discuss Pokemon manga in general.

JB2248 has the original scans up until BW2 I believe, uncensored and translated. It sucks that Chuang Yi went out of business and got rebranded, I bought the uncensored volumes from them. Now they just sell the Viz releases.

This manga, a good chunk of the Clefairy manga, and Magical Pokemon Journey all got English releases in China. Pokemon Special is the only one of the three that anyone bothered to scan.

Nope, but White and N are finally doing things and BW2 got a chapter last month, so it might be sooner than later

B2W2/ORAS is translated straight from Japanese, so no censorship.
XY Volume 1 is translated from Japanese, so no censorship.
XY Volume 2-3 was scanned in by someone VIZ version, but it was reverse-censorship with someone using Japanese raws and replacing the panels that had censorship.
XY Volume 4-6 is translated from Japanese, so no censorship.
Sun and Moon is translated from Japanese, so no censorship.

Basically all the scans nowadays online are not censored.

Fan translations are out there, but they are the kind of weeb trash that don't bother translating the pokemon names or insist on keeping a LOT of Japaneses words the same in the same style as "keikaku means plan".
