>>38292985Learn to read faggot, I've outright statd the other acronym is official. What it boils down to is not who's more official. You don't get more official than official. It's which of the two is the better shorthand. What does its job best ad an abbreviated form. SS is objectively the better abbreviation because it's more abbreviated and doesn't contain special characters.
>>38293071I've said this numerous times. Not everything within a single filename is talking about the name of the thing in the image. In the case of the Scorbunny image, Glow RGB 300dpi isn't talking about what's depicted in the image. Scorbunny is the official english name of that character. Glow RGB 300dpi is information about the image itself, but not what's in the image, if that makes sense. In the case of the SS image, EN is tacked onto the end. Obviously, we all know the games are not called Pokemon Sword and Shield EN because EN is used to show that it's for use in English speaking territories. It's not inconsistent, people here are just insisting on looking past the logic behind it. Each of the images on that site has parts to its filename that aren't used to indicate what the name of said entity depicted in the image is while other parts of the filename are used to describe what's depicted. For example, I have 3 pictures of a lion saved on my computer named lion 1, lion 2, and lion 3. The first part(lion) is used to denote that a lion is depicted in the image. The 3 is to signify that it's the 3rd lion image. Different parts of the filename are used to describe different things about the image.
