Is Blue the most competent trainer in the games outside of the player character?
He's proven to be competent, beating gyms and even becoming a champ/gym leader unlike most other rivals
He chooses his team based on your weakness instead of being an idiot and picking whatever is weaker to you
He actually changes his team based on your team instead of being a karenfag
He builds a varied team covering all types of advantages and weaknesses instead of sticking to a single type/theme; going as far as being the only gym leader who doesnt give a fuck about this bullshit
He's the one you can rematch most through the games
And more importantly he doesn't suck your dick every time you meet like you're some god walking on earth instead of just another trainer brat like he is/was

Cheren and Barry were the ones closest to him but still failed to check the boxes i mentioned previously. Silver is just some edgelord.
