Why do I remember her being tranny. I don't think there was any allusion to it, and I don't even think I understood the concept of trannies back then either.

I like her personality and it’s kind of neat that the “fashionable” stylish gym leader is a ghost specialist. Pokemon is already filled to the brim with waifubait material though so I don’t mind if this one character has a square-ish jaw, I never really noticed it until I went on vp

I'm using the same pattern that GameFreak used with Caitlin. Also, everyone with a relative in Pokemon always goes on about them or has some supplemental material in game confirming or even hinting it. Fantina's lack of doing so means Tucker is not her relative.

Fantina actually has a really good team in DP. Gengar, Mismagius, and Drifblim. Two new Pokemon - one of which is an evolved version of an existing Pokemon. And also Gengar, one of the best Ghosts in the game.

Even in Platinum, she had a decent team for the level curve. I would have still evolved the Haunter into Gengar, though.
