Sword-kun isn't ugly so I'll choose him. The only times I've picked the female option is Gen III and B/W 2 because the males look fucking stupid. Default X/Y is pretty fucking horrible too but customization let's you really style him up.

I'm gonna play as Shield-chan, but I don't have gender dysphoria.
Gender dysphoria is when you're one gender, but you believe the other gender is what you're "supposed to be" or "really are on the inside"
In real life, I'm a man and I know I'm a man. I have never felt as though I was a girl or should have been a girl.
However, I think it would be great to be a cute little girl. In other words, to be someone else - someone who isn't me. That's a very different thing than believing I already am something I'm not.
