They're basically junkies who are looking to get their next fix, however it comes, even if it means needing to inject between their toes.
Too many brain dead shit eaters basically, keep buying trash games so give gamefreak zero incentive to try harder. The sadder thing is gamefreak clearly have no impetus themselves in making the quality kind of game you SHOULD expect from a franchise of this size and with all the resources they could want at their disposal to make these games as good as they could possibly want; fulfill any artistic vision practically. There is no artistic vision though, or at least, its a very limited one that is utilitarian and MVP. Gamefreak are all about the minimal viable product now.
Its a toxic combination that is, has and will continue to kill the games of this franchise. Once upon a time 'hardware limitations' and the like could have been something to raise but, not anymore. Gamefreak and the people claiming to be fans, still buying their games are the reason why.
