Real leaks thread, don't bother debunking. Call me CyberDragon. Should be working on scripts rn so I'll make this quick
Nintendo (yes, Nintendo, not GF or TPCI) secretly hired 15 expert game developers to work on the Next pokemon game (not Sword/Shield), and I'm one of them, I'm a rigger.
>new pokemon games (Sword and Shiel) work on a different engine than latest games on 3ds (and that should be obvious). You can call it an improved version of that, 1.3. However next games are to be produced on a totally new one that even lets us work on our smartphones to adjust parameters and such. Can't test a build immediately after a change though, which is in my personal opinion really bad, expect bugs.
>I work on models, and I've seen lots of them. Trust me when i say they've improved a lot. I'm making sure animations come out right. Also expect a lot more than battle animations, especially for blastoise, charizard, venusaur and pikachu. No, the game is not another pokemon red/blue remake
>I had the chance to discuss with the other team's programmers, this group is focused on creating the game's online infrastucture. They told me that they're not happy with what they've done with sword/shield, Next game they'll try harder to impose their opinions
This will probably look lame, not the leak you'd expect, but this is all I can give you. Consider this my thank you gift for Pokemon Clover, while it's not really popular here at work, I loved it
