>>38305019I think so, yes. Honestly, I did expect a little bit more from world design, BUT we don't know if the map is a definitive indication of how expansive the world will be. I'm just hoping for less hand-holding, I really did not enjoy all of the cutscenes in SM/USUM. I think a big part of R/B/Y G/S/C's charm was that the world was mostly quiet and you were left up to your own interpretation of events and the order of how things happened. The world was quiet and you could get lost in your thoughts and ideas of what the story would be, rather than have it spoonfed to you. In this more recent format, it becomes less about conquering gyms and capturing Pokemon/becoming the best trainer in the region and more about a story line with those elements thrown in.
Things I'm hoping they show in later directs:
- Following Pokemon, seriously wtf if they don't have this
- Better customization/Outfit options
- Pokemon Bank compatibility (BIG oof if they don't have this...)
