Whats your favourite part of any pokemon game?

Me, I always love the early-mid game stretch, when you’re filling out your team, your starter is near evolving levels or just evolved. Like HGSS up till Morty

the part of XY where the let me choose the KANTOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO starters! I was so thrilled they remembered the best gen! I don't really like the new designs and dont know them and really dint like the toxic gatekeeping but I was so glad I CLAPPED I CPLAED I was just so happy that they remembered the old times! Recently they've been forgetting what started them, and havent played much homage to the original, and best games. RED AND BLUE!!!!!!! Omg and I was so excited when they revealed the Mega evolutions for CHARIZARD and the other starters like VENUSAUR that I spat out my onions!!!! It was as if they finnally remembered who the TRUE fans are! it was amazing! Although I would have liked it better if XY was just a remake of Gen 1 (the true gen) and not all these fake-mon and children's cartoon characters (you cant critisive my opinion by saying that gen one also had lots if very childish and cartoony pokemon like Mr mime being that was back in gen 1 because it was gen 1 they were trying out new stuff)

I agree OP, to be a bit more specific I’m currently playing a randomized run of Platinum and from Hearthone to Pastoria, badges 3-5, is in my opinion the most relaxing and engaging part of the game. Its before the big plot comes in and there are so many new Pokemon and extremely minimal interruptions or pace breakers. Its when the game feels more like your own adventure and not the fate of the world’s.

Anything before your team is fully formed. It's fun to train and learn new moves, evolve your members and even catch new ones. It becomes kind of stale when all Pokémon you face will just be going straight to the PC box without any consideration if you want to use them. I mean sure, you might not use a Bidoof the entire playthrough but the earlier you are into the game the more likely you are to add it to your team as a temporary member untill you find that Croagunk you're wating for.

The mid game, when your Pokemon are beginning to evolve to their final form, and your team begins to start feeling like they've reached their peak. I just love that feeling, and that's why I tend to gravitate toward Pokemon that can evolve rather than single-stage mons for the most part.

sinnoh played through once and dont really remember

unova reaching castelia or getting near and to victory road, usually dislike victory road but unova's is my favorite

kalos the postgame looker mission with emma, favorite part of any game

alola most of poni island or defeating guzma and battling nanu, just love those characters and anytime I could see them
